An excellent washed mocha from Ethiopia with particularly small beans. Mild, soft, light acidity and little caffeine.

In the southernmost part of Ethiopia, at an altitude of a good 1,800 metres, a special coffee grows in the shade of the mountain trees. Sidamo coffee, named after Ethiopia's province of origin, matures on small trees that descend directly from the wild, 90-year-old coffee bushes of the African rainforest. Like all Ethiopian coffees, Sidamo is a country-registered brand. The "Coffea Arabica" plant originates from Ethiopia. According to legend, a shepherd in the 19th century saw the cheering effect that the coffee cherries had on his goats and therefore told of the "dancing goats". Sidamo coffee has a small greenish-greyish bean that is slightly longer than the American coffee bean. It has a pleasant citrus and bergamot note. This coffee is known for its very high quality.
