As early as the mid-1990s, we recognised what future the coffee shop trend that had emerged in the USA in the 1980s would have in the European region and founded the EINSTEIN KAFFEE™ branches. In 2002, this concept was awarded the Foodservice Prize of the publishing group Deutscher Fachverlag for outstanding achievements in the field of brand and system catering. EINSTEIN KAFFEE™ sees itself as a modern, Central European coffee house chain, anchored in Italian and Viennese coffee culture. We do not embody the image of a faceless franchise chain but present ourselves as classic Viennese coffee houses with high standards and a young Berlin touch, welcoming more than 80% percent regular customers every day. This is just as clear in the atmospheric appearance as in the product expertise.
