Detailed description:
The farm was founded in 1950 in Waghi Valley. Here, the coffee enjoys a perfect climate to grow. The plantation grows only the best Arabica varieties, such as Arusha and Typica. That is why this coffee is finer than others from PNG. The quality control of the coffees already starts in the field: all cherries are picked by hand and checked for uniformity. They must be red and fully ripe; only in this state does the cherry have the optimal ratio of sugar and acidity. The harvest is peeled on the same day. Fermentation and washing take place within the next 2 days. Then comes the drying in the sun. All coffees are carefully checked and sorted on site before shipment.
